How to be saved

when you get to the word gift skip it and click on one of the words that  say gift and it will bring you to a special page

God has never turned his back on you.....even when things were at their worst. He sees what you do, what you feel, what you think and it does not change the The gift he offers to you this day. No strings attached, no money to pay, all you have to do is accept it from Him. Before you click to leave, just spend a moment and find out what it is He has to offer you today.

I know that you may have been hurt in your life; there may have been times when you feel that God was not with you, that he was getting back at you, that he didn't love you. What you will find out today is that he has been with you every second of every moment of every day of your life. When your heart broke into pieces, God was there weeping and holding you in His arms. He knows the hurt you have felt and he knows the hurt you will feel again.

Contrary to popular belief, God is not 'vengeful'. He is not sitting there just waiting for the moment when we mess up in life so he can 'smite' us. God knows our actions, even before we do them. He knows that we are full of faults. He understands that we are human beings who face incredible obstacles throughout life and that we are inherently weak in our abilities to handle them appropriately at times.

You may think there is no way that God could love you. You may have done things in your life that others could not possibly forgive you for. You may feel ashamed or embarrased to even attempt to connect with God, but I can assure you He is there waiting. If you listen, he is there....knocking on the door to your heart. He loves you, and he will always love you. That is why he has given us this The gift. Not just for the 'good' people in the world, but for everyone. All you have to do is accept it and set yourself free from the burden of your guilt and self convictions.

The gift

What is it God is offering you today? It's the gift of knowing where you will spend eternity. It's the gift of knowing that all of the sins you have committed in your life, no matter how bad they are, have been forgiven. It's the knowledge that God is always there with you, through the pain and sadness and also during the happy times. It's the knowledge of knowing your life has meaning. It's knowing that someone is there to love you always, when it seems like the world has cast you aside.

God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for us. God made the ultimate sacrifice for each and every one of us. None of us deserved it. If you had a child would you let him be beaten and murdered so that others would be saved? Would you let him die for those that would never appreciate what he has done for them? I wouldn't. However, God did just that. His little boy was brutally beaten, nailed to a tree and left to die a slow and agonizing death, so that each of us may live in the presence of God for all eternity.

Why the brutality, blood and death? God's law is written in His word: Romans 6:23 'For the wages of sin is death'. This is God's law. That those who commit sin shall die and be eternally seperated from the presence of God. However, Romans 6:23 goes on to say 'but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' The gift of God.

This gift, as I have been saying, does not come with any strings attached. It is just between you and God. It is you recognizing the fact that since the wages of sin is death, that your sins have been paid for through the death of Jesus Christ. All you have to do is know that, accept it with your heart and live free forever. It's not about what religion you are, what church you go to or how many 'good works' you perform in your life. There are plenty of Christians, activists and church-going folks who will be seperated from God when their time comes. Simply living a good life is not your free pass. Knowing what God did for you and accepting that with all your heart and believing it, is all that is asked of us.

Would you like to accept what God is offering? He is with you now and he desperately wants you to come to him. He has made it so easy for you. Remember, you are not here by accident. God presented this opportunity to you, because he loves you so much. Just take a moment to speak with him. If you're at work, at home, it doesn't matter. Just quietly speak to him with your heart. He's there knocking....just open the door. Just tell him:

'God I know I have sinned. I know that I have done things in my life that have been wrong. I believe that your son Jesus died for me so that my sins could be forgiven. I now ask Jesus to come into my heart and I accept him as my savior. I thank you for your love, the forgiveness of my sins and the gift of eternal life.'
